2012 Ford Fiesta 1.6L Petrol · AF12 NZZ

The 2012 Ford Fiesta presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend, evidenced by the most recent test on 28 November 2025 at 98,555 miles returning a pass with no defects recorded. Five consecutive annual tests from December 2021 through November 2025 each passed with zero advisories or failures, showing the vehicle has remained mechanically sound across the period examined. Recorded mileage rose from 81,849 miles at the 1 December 2021 test to 98,555 miles by the 28 November 2025 test, an accumulation of 16,706 miles over four years. This equates to roughly 4,175 miles per year across the test window, below the vehicle's lifetime average of circa 7,040 miles per year and consistent with light private use. The clean record shows no gaps exceeding thirteen months between tests and no abrupt jumps in mileage that would suggest commercial or high-stress operation. A buyer should still commission an independent physical inspection despite the unblemished MOT history. The absence of advisories across five tests means the tester logged no worn suspension bushes, corroded structures, or failing brake components, yet items such as brake disc thickness, coil spring condition, and underbody corrosion remain subject to visual limits at test time and can degrade between annual checks. Given the Fiesta is now nearly fourteen years old, particular attention should go to the exhaust system for internal rust, the front subframe for structural integrity, and the tyre sidewalls for age cracking irrespective of tread depth. The clean MOT trail implies prior owners kept basic upkeep current, but no record replaces hands-on scrutiny of consumables and hidden mechanical wear.
