2012 Audi TT 1.8L Petrol · AF12 WGG

This Audi TT presents an exceptionally stable mechanical profile, characterized by a flawless five-year MOT history with no recorded defects or advisories. The most recent pass on 16 January 2026 continues a consistent trend of roadworthiness, suggesting that the vehicle has been maintained to a standard that avoids the typical wear-and-tear failures often seen in cars of this vintage. The recorded mileage of 79,078 miles is significantly below the national average for a fourteen-year-old vehicle, representing an annual accumulation of roughly 5,648 miles. Mechanically, this low usage suggests reduced fatigue on the drivetrain and primary suspension components, though it also indicates the vehicle has spent more time stationary than a high-mileage equivalent. Given the absence of any flagged advisories regarding corrosion or suspension wear, a physical inspection should focus on verifying the integrity of the rubber components and seals. During the test drive, pay close attention to the steering rack and suspension bushes for any knocks or clunks when traversing uneven surfaces, as these can develop over time regardless of low mileage. Further attention should be directed toward the engine bay to check for any evidence of oil misting or seepage, which may not be severe enough to trigger an MOT failure but is relevant for long-term maintenance. Ensure the brake pedal feel is firm and consistent, and listen for any unusual drivetrain vibrations under acceleration to confirm the mechanical health matches the clean official record.
