2021 Land Rover Discovery HSE D Mhev Auto 3.0L Diesel · AF21 VKZ

The Land Rover Discovery HSE D MHEV Auto presents a stable roadworthiness trend. The most recent test on 3 September 2025 at 73,953 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, following an earlier clean pass on 6 June 2024 at 54,709 miles. Two consecutive MOTs with zero advisories indicate the previous keeper addressed any wear before each test and the vehicle shows no worsening mechanical faults across the recorded interval. The odometer climbed from 54,709 miles in June 2024 to 73,953 miles by September 2025, an accumulation of 19,244 miles in just over fifteen months. That equates to roughly 14,800 miles per year against a five-year-old vehicle, a high annual figure for this model age and pointing to sustained motorway or business use rather than short local commuting. The DVSA history contains only those two entries, so no early-life tests survive in the record; the clean sheet across both available tests gives little basis to question upkeep, though the sparse data limits deeper trend analysis. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of suspension bushes, front coil springs, and brake disc wear given the elevated mileage and Discovery platform's known propensity for air suspension fatigue. The MOT file flags no corrosion or structural integrity concerns, yet standing moisture exposure on a 2021 chassis can hide undertray rust the tester could not see. Verify the service book matches the 14,800-mile annual rhythm and confirm transmission and differential oils were changed on schedule. The absence of advisories on tyres or wiper blades suggests consumables were renewed promptly, but physical checks on tread depth and caliper binding remain prudent before purchase.
