2013 Honda FIT 1.5L Hybrid electric (clean) · AF63 XJB

The vehicle presents a clean roadworthiness profile based on the most recent MOT test on 29 January 2026. At 67,000 miles, the car passed with no defects recorded, indicating a stable maintenance trend where all primary safety and emissions components met statutory standards. The absence of advisories suggests that the vehicle is currently operating without immediate mechanical requirements. The recorded mileage of 67,000 miles over 13 years averages to approximately 5,154 miles per year, which is significantly lower than the national average for a vehicle. This low usage pattern typically implies less wear on the drivetrain, engine, and suspension components. The clean record from the January 2026 test confirms the vehicle remains in regular use, though the low mileage necessitates monitoring for potential degradation of rubber-based components or fluid breakdown that often affects low-mileage cars that sit idle for extended periods. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on components prone to age-related decay rather than mileage-related wear. Check the suspension bushes and shock absorbers for cracking or perished rubber, as these can fail over time regardless of distance traveled. Given the low mileage, the brake discs should be inspected for surface corrosion or pitting, and the tyres should be checked for flat spots or sidew cracking despite having tread depth. Verify the chassis for structural integrity to ensure that surface rust has not developed in the mounting points over its thirteen-year lifespan.
