2007 Ford Mondeo 2.0L Diesel · AG07 XYW

The 2007 Ford Mondeo currently holds a valid roadworthiness status following a pass on 13 May 2024 at 184,313 miles. The maintenance trend appears stable, with no defects recorded across any of the four available tests. The only anomaly is a failed test on 10 May 2024 at 184,063 miles that listed no defects, immediately followed three days later by a clean pass, which suggests an administrative or procedural rejection rather than a mechanical fault. Mileage progression shows consistent use. The car covered 166,205 miles by 8 May 2022, rose to 176,296 by 14 May 2023, and reached 184,313 by May 2024. That equates to roughly 9,700 miles per year, entirely typical for a nineteen-year-old vehicle. The record contains no gaps or sudden accumulation spikes, and the clean advisories across all entries indicate no flagged wear on consumables or structural items. Given the sparse history with zero recorded defects or advisories, a buyer should still commission an independent inspection before purchase. At 184,313 miles and nineteen years old, suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs, and subframe corrosion are common failure points on Mondeo chassis that a basic MOT may not deeply probe. The absence of advisories does not confirm component health, merely that nothing breached test thresholds on the day. The repeated clean tests imply previous owners kept the car to minimum legal standard, but the unexplained fail three days before the final pass warrants confirmation the vehicle was not withdrawn for emissions or documentation issues. Verify service records and inspect underneath for structural rust around sills and suspension mounts.
