2023 Ford Tourneo Custom 320 TI Eblue A 2.0L Diesel · AG22 ARG

This vehicle lacks any documented MOT history, rendering a formal roadworthiness assessment impossible. Without test dates, advisories, or pass/fail outcomes, there is no evidence to evaluate maintenance trends, recurring faults, or the vehicle’s structural or mechanical condition. The absence of records suggests either a first-time registration or a deliberate omission of historical data, both of which are significant red flags. Buyers should treat this as a high-risk purchase, as critical components—such as suspension integrity, brake systems, and exhaust emissions—cannot be verified through official channels. Mileage data is entirely absent, preventing any comparison to the vehicle’s age or expected wear patterns. A 2023 Ford Tourneo Custom should have undergone at least one MOT by now, given standard test intervals. The lack of records implies either extreme neglect or a deliberate attempt to conceal the vehicle’s service history. Without mileage figures, it is impossible to determine whether the vehicle has been driven sparingly or excessively, which directly impacts wear on critical parts like tyres, brakes, and engine components. This gap alone warrants thorough independent inspection before any purchase. Given the complete absence of MOT data, a prospective buyer must prioritise a full mechanical inspection, with particular attention to suspension components—including coil springs, bushes, and shock absorbers—where wear often goes unnoticed until failure. Brake systems, especially calipers and discs, should be checked for uneven wear or binding, as these are common failure points in commercial vans. Structural corrosion, particularly around wheel arches, sills, and the underbody, must be assessed, as this is a frequent issue in older vans exposed to UK road conditions. Additionally, the exhaust system should be inspected for leaks or excessive rust, which could indicate poor maintenance. Without prior MOT records, no assumptions about past repairs can be made, so a detailed pre-purchase inspection is essential.
