2017 Ford Fiesta 1.2L Petrol · AG52 ALF

The vehicle currently holds a valid MOT certificate issued on 25 July 2025 at 68,927 miles, indicating a stable and clean maintenance trend. While the car failed its initial test on 23 July 2025, the lack of recorded defects suggests this was likely a clerical error or a minor administrative oversight rather than a mechanical failure. The absence of any advisories across the last four years of testing reflects a high standard of upkeep and suggests the previous owner addressed consumable items proactively before they reached a point of failure. The recorded mileage of 68,927 over nine years averages approximately 7,659 miles annually, which is entirely consistent with typical private usage. The progression of mileage is steady, showing no significant gaps or periods of prolonged inactivity that might otherwise lead to seized calipers, perished rubber seals, or battery degradation. The consistent annual testing pattern confirms the vehicle has remained in regular operation, which is generally preferable to a car that has sat idle for extended durations. Given the clean MOT history, there are no recurring mechanical faults or structural concerns to highlight from the official data. A prospective buyer should focus their physical inspection on the standard consumables that do not always trigger an MOT failure until they are severely degraded. Check the condition of the brake discs for surface corrosion and the tyre sidewalls for cracking or uneven wear patterns. Inspect the underside for any signs of surface rust on the subframe or chassis rails, as the MOT record does not always capture minor cosmetic oxidation. Provided the engine bay is free of fluid leaks and the suspension dampers show no signs of weeping, the vehicle presents as a well-maintained example.
