2007 Toyota Yaris 1.4L Diesel · AK07 BDV

The 2007 Toyota Yaris presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend, confirmed by the most recent test on 10 September 2025 at 97,474 miles where the tester recorded no defects. Every annual examination from 2021 through 2025 returned a pass with no advisories, showing consistent compliance and no worsening mechanical faults across the five-year record. The odometer climbed from 89,513 miles at the 10 September 2021 test to 97,474 miles by September 2025, a total of 7,961 miles over four years. That averages roughly 1,990 miles per year, well below the 5,130 miles per year implied by the lifetime figure and confirming very light use for a nineteen-year-old car. The clean record with no flagged corrosion, suspension bushes, brake discs, or exhaust emissions issues suggests the previous owners kept basic upkeep current rather than deferring consumable replacement. A buyer should still arrange a physical inspection beneath the sills and subframe, as the MOT record shows no structural advisories but a low-mileage Yaris of this age may hide surface rust from long standing periods. The absence of any brake or coil spring warnings across the history implies the calipers and suspension remain serviceable, yet tyres and wiper blades fall outside the recorded data and warrant a visual check for perishing from disuse. Given the unbroken pass sequence and gentle annual mileage, the vehicle reflects careful ownership rather than neglected storage. Verify the service book against the low totals and listen for drivetrain wear on a cold start, since light running can mask early bearing or gearbox fatigue not captured by MOT tests.
