2012 Audi A6 2.0L Diesel · AK12 KGF

The 2012 Audi A6 presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 5 February 2026 at 158,459 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, and the three preceding annual examinations also cleared the car without advisories. The upkeep pattern shows no worsening faults and no recurring mechanical concerns across the available history. Recorded mileage sits at 158,459 against an age of roughly fourteen years, equating to about 11,300 miles per year and reflecting typical use for the model. The gap between the 15 November 2022 test at 141,337 miles and the 31 January 2024 failure at 154,703 miles covers just over 13,000 miles in fourteen months, a reasonable rate. A curious entry appears on 31 January 2024 with a failure at 154,703 miles yet no defects listed, immediately followed three days later by a pass at 154,704 miles; this suggests an administrative or procedural rejection rather than a genuine fault. The clean advisory sheet means the tester logged no worn suspension bushes, corroded structure, binding calipers, or exhaust issues at any stage. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of brake discs, coil springs, and underbody corrosion given the car's age and mileage, as MOT passes do not certify component life beyond the test day. Previous owners appear to have maintained statutory testing discipline, with the only blemish being the unexplained January 2024 failure. No evidence exists of skipped consumable replacement or neglected structural care within the recorded data.
