2008 Volvo V70 2.4L Diesel · AO58 FGD

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness, maintaining a remarkably stable maintenance trend over the last five years. The most recent inspection conducted on 15 July 2025 at 154,526 miles returned with no defects or advisories. This clean sheet suggests that the previous owner has been proactive with vehicle upkeep, likely addressing potential mechanical issues before they resulted in an MOT failure. The mileage accumulation is consistent with typical usage for an 18-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 8,600 miles per annum. Between June 2021 and July 2025, the car covered 18,291 miles, showing a steady usage pattern of roughly 4,500 to 6,000 miles each year. The intervals between tests are regular, falling annually around July, which indicates the vehicle has been used consistently rather than suffering from the degradation associated with long periods of standing. Despite the lack of recorded faults in the digital history, a physical inspection should focus on common wear points for a Volvo V70 of this age. A buyer must check the structural integrity for corrosion on the sills and rear suspension mounting, as these areas are prone to rust. Given the mileage, the condition of the rubber suspension bushes and the state of the brake calipers for signs of binding are also priorities, as these components often degrade without triggering a formal MOT advisory failure.
