2016 Audi A6 3.0L Diesel · AV16 YNG

The 2025‑11‑06 MOT at 129,701 miles passed with no defects recorded, confirming that the vehicle remains roadworthy and that the maintenance record shows no evidence of worsening faults. All preceding tests from 2020 to 2024 also passed without recorded defects, indicating a stable maintenance history. The mileage trajectory reveals a high annual usage of roughly 12,970 miles, far above the typical 7,500‑8,000 miles expected for a 2016 model. Notable accelerations occur between 2020‑11‑16 (64,715 miles) and 2021‑10‑22 (79,948 miles), a gain of 15,233 miles in eleven months, and between 2022‑10‑05 (91,557 miles) and 2023‑04‑18 (94,925 miles), a rise of 3,368 miles in six months, suggesting periods of intensive use or limited standing time. A buyer should therefore examine the suspension geometry, as repeated inner‑edge tyre wear on both front and rear positions points to worn bushes, mis‑aligned coil springs or binding rear brakes. Inspection of the brake discs, calipers and pads for scoring or corrosion is essential, as is a visual check of the chassis and wheel‑arch areas for structural rust that could compromise integrity. Finally, the condition of the exhaust system, drivetrain components and fluid levels should be verified, given the high cumulative mileage.
