2013 Nissan Qashqai 1.6L Petrol · AV51 ABS

This Nissan Qashqai demonstrates an exceptional track record of roadworthiness, characterized by a complete absence of defects or advisories across its last five annual inspections. This stability is confirmed by the most recent clean pass on 7 October 2025, indicating a vehicle that has maintained a high standard of mechanical integrity without the typical wear-and-tear flags often associated with a thirteen-year-old chassis. The recorded mileage of 54,457 miles is significantly low for a vehicle of this vintage, averaging approximately 4,189 miles per year. Such a low rate of accumulation suggests the vehicle has not been subjected to the heavy wear associated with long-distance commuting or high-intensity urban use. Mechanically, this typically results in less fatigue on the engine internals and drivetrain components, though the low usage pattern means the vehicle has spent more time stationary than the average equivalent model. Given the absence of any flagged suspension bushes, coil springs, or brake pipe corrosion in the DVSA history, the vehicle presents as mechanically sound on paper. During a test drive, focus on confirming this lack of wear by listening for any knocks or clunks over uneven road surfaces, which would indicate the onset of suspension linkage wear not yet captured in the testing cycle. Ensure the steering remains centered and there is no pull to either side, verifying that the alignment and steering rack remain in the condition suggested by the clean test records. Attention should also be paid to the braking system to ensure there is no pedal judder or binding calipers, as these can develop regardless of low mileage. While the MOT records show no issues with exhaust emissions or structural integrity, a physical inspection of the underbody for any surface corrosion is advisable to complement the official findings. The consistency of the pass certificates suggests a vehicle in a state of readiness, provided the physical condition matches the documented history.
