2004 Fiat . 2.0L Diesel · AXZ 7751

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile based on a consistent history of clean MOT test results. The most recent inspection conducted on 24 March 2023 at 115,679 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This continuity suggests a proactive approach to maintenance by the previous owners, as the vehicle has met all standards without flagging recurring mechanical or structural failures during the testing process. The mileage pattern is notably low for a 22-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 5,258 miles per year. There is a significant jump in usage recorded between February 2022 and March 2023, where the car covered 26,753 miles in just over thirteen months. Prior to this, the vehicle sat relatively stationary between 2017 and 2019, covering only 2,016 miles. While low mileage generally reduces wear on the drivetrain and engine, long periods of inactivity can cause rubber-based components to dry out or brake components to seize from lack of use. Given the clean record, a buyer should focus their physical inspection on the structural integrity of the chassis and mounting points, as Fiat vehicles from this era are prone to corrosion in hidden areas. Inspect the suspension arms for surface rust and check the bushings for cracking, which can occur through age regardless of low mileage. Because the last test was performed over three years ago, a thorough check of fluid levels and brake hoses is essential to ensure no significant leaks have developed since the last official DVSA check.
