2013 Aston Martin Vantage 5.9L Petrol · B6 KTN

A history of consistent roadworthiness is evidenced by the lack of recorded defects across the available testing period, with the most recent pass on 02 December 2025 showing no failures or advisories. This clean record suggests that the mechanical components subject to MOT inspection have remained within regulatory limits during the intervals between tests. The absence of recorded issues across the two documented tests indicates a stable trend in terms of structural integrity and essential safety systems. The vehicle exhibits an unusually low usage profile for a 2013 model, having covered only 20,234 miles over approximately thirteen years. This equates to an average annual accumulation of roughly 1,556 miles, which is significantly below the standard UK average. While low mileage typically implies less wear on drivetrain components and braking systems, such infrequent use can also result in components remaining stationary for extended periods. This usage pattern necessitates a close inspection of rubber-based elements and seals that may be subject to perishing or drying out due to lack of regular thermal cycling and movement. Given the lack of specific advisories in the MOT history, a test drive should focus on verifying that the low-mileage status has not resulted in any secondary issues related to infrequent operation. Listen for any irregular knocks or knocks from the suspension bushes or coil springs when navigating uneven surfaces, as these components can sometimes stiffen or degrade when not regularly exercised. Check for any hesitation in the engine response or irregularities in the idle, which may occur if the fuel system or sensors have been subject to long periods of inactivity. Regarding the braking system, pay close attention to the pedal feel and any potential for binding calipers or uneven disc wear. Even with low mileage, brake discs can develop surface corrosion or unevenness if the vehicle has spent significant time stationary. Ensure there is no steering pull or vibration through the pedal when braking at various speeds, which would indicate issues with the discs or calipers. Finally, inspect the area around the engine and gearbox for any signs of oil misting or weeping from seals, as stationary vehicles can sometimes experience seal shrinkage.
