2006 Honda Jazz 1.3L Petrol · BG06 ADX

The 2006 Honda Jazz presents a broadly stable roadworthiness trend, with the most recent test on 4 November 2021 at 140,676 miles returning a pass and no defects recorded. Prior to that, the November 2020 cycle shows a pass at 118,423 miles alongside a same-day failure at 118,421 miles, though the failure carried no listed defects, indicating an administrative or measurement anomaly rather than a mechanical fault. Across the five available tests from May 2018 to November 2021, the vehicle cleared each examination without advisories, suggesting consistent baseline condition for a two-decade-old supermini. The mileage pattern aligns with typical use for the age, averaging roughly 7,034 miles per year. The records show 79,260 miles in May 2018, 82,060 miles in April 2019, then a substantial jump to 118,421 miles by November 2020, equating to around 36,000 miles in eighteen months before settling at 140,676 miles by November 2021. This late-life accumulation implies heavier commuting or delivery use in the final recorded phase, though the clean test outcomes show the drivetrain and emissions systems coped without flagged wear. The sparse, defect-free history offers little evidence of neglected consumables during the logged period. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection before purchase, as the MOT data terminates nearly five years before today's date and leaves the intervening period unverified. With no historical advisories on suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs, or structural corrosion, the Jazz avoids any recorded pattern of worsening mechanical risk, but standing time since 2021 may have allowed moisture ingress or perished rubber components unseen by the tester. Direct checks on underbody integrity, binding calipers, and exhaust condition remain prudent given the gap in official evidence.
