2007 Nissan Murano 3.5L Petrol · BJ57 OXK

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile based on three consecutive MOT passes without any recorded deffect. The most recent test conducted on 9 February 2024 resulted in no defects or advisories, indicating that the vehicle met all minimum safety and emission standards at that time. This trend of clean records suggests that the previous owners maintained the mechanical integrity and addressed potential issues before they escalated into test failures. At a recorded mileage of 149,296 miles, the vehicle has averaged approximately 7,858 miles per year over its 19-year life. This usage aligns with typical annual figures for a large SUV, avoiding excessive wear on the drivetrain components and suspension assemblies. The intervals between the tests in January 2022, January 2023, and February 2024 show a consistent annual inspection schedule rather than long periods of stationary neglect, which can often lead to seized brake calipers or fluid degradation. Despite the clean MOT history, a buyer must perform a physical inspection of common failure points for a Nissan Murano of this age. Particular attention should be paid to structural corrosion on the subframe and rear mounting points, as MOT tests only detect structural rust once it reaches a significant threshold. Given the mileage, the condition of the suspension bushes and coil springs should be verified for signs of tearing or sagging, as these often perish without triggering an MOT failure unless they compromise steering safety.
