2015 Subaru Forester 2.0L Diesel · BV65 JZR

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a consistent maintenance history over the last five years. The most recent inspection conducted in July 2025 at 104,444 miles identified an advisory for worn front suspension arm pins or bushes. While this indicates the onset of rubber component degradation, the vehicle passed the test without immediate failure, suggesting that the wear is currently within acceptable tolerances but requires monitoring to prevent future failures. The mileage accumulation is remarkably consistent with typical annual usage for a vehicle of this age, averaging approximately 9,500 miles per year. Between July 2021 at 65,743 miles and July 2025 at 104,444 miles, the car covered roughly 38,700 miles at a steady rate. This pattern suggests regular use rather than long periods of stationary storage, which often leads to perished seals and unexpected internal corrosion in the drivetrain and braking systems. A prospective buyer should focus their physical inspection on the front suspension geometry to assess the extent of the bushing wear noted in the 2025 test. Given the age and mileage, checking for play in the control arms and signs of tearing in the rubber is essential. The lack of recorded defects between 2021 and 2024 indicates that the structural integrity and braking components have remained well-maintained, but a thorough check of the chassis for surface rust remains a standard precaution for a Subaru model of this era.
