2013 Honda FIT 1.5L Hybrid electric (clean) · BW63 VXL

The vehicle currently presents a clean roadworthiness profile based on the most recent certification. The MOT test conducted on 16 May 2025 at 62,939 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates a stable maintenance trend where the mechanical and safety-critical components met all DVSA standards at the time of the last inspection. The recorded mileage of 62,939 miles is notably low for a thirteen-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 4,841 miles per year. This usage pattern suggests the car has been used for short-distance local trips rather than high-mileage commuting. While low mileage typically reduces wear on the engine and drivetrain, it can occasionally lead to the degradation of rubber-based components or corrosion on braking surfaces due to long periods of standing. Given the lack of recorded faults in the digital history, a buyer should focus their in-person inspection on components that suffer from age rather than just distance. Check the suspension bushes for perished and inspect the coil springs for fractures, as these can become brittle over time. The buyer should also examine the brake discs for surface pitting or rust, as low-use vehicles often fail to clear the rotors effectively. A thorough chassis inspection is also necessary to ensure no structural corrosion has developed in the sills or floor pans despite the clean test record.
