The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile, evidenced by a consistently clean MOT history. The most recent test on 3 November 2025 at 16,661 miles resulted in no defects or advisories, mirroring the results of the previous three inspections. This suggests the vehicle has been maintained to a road sound condition without recurring mechanical or structural failures appearing during the official testing process. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 26-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 641 miles per year. Between February 2018 and March 2019, the vehicle covered only 228 miles, indicating infrequent use or long-term storage. The six-year gap between the February 2019 test and the November 2025 test, during which only 25 miles were recorded, suggests the vehicle may have sat stationary for extended periods. While this low mileage limits mechanical wear on the drivetrain and engine components, it increases the risk of age-related perishables degradation and fluid breakdown that an MOT test may not fully capture. Given the lack of recorded faults in the history, a physical inspection should focus on the structural integrity of the chassis and floorpan, as vehicles of this age are prone to hidden corrosion even when driven infrequently. The buyer should examine the rubber components, including brake lines, suspension bushes, and tyres, for cracking or dry rot caused by age. The braking system should also be checked for seized calipers or pitted discs, as low-frequency use often leads to surface rust and internal corrosion within the hydraulic system.
