1985 Yamaha Unknown 0.1L Petrol · C954 YPW

The vehicle maintains a clean roadworthiness status following the pass recorded on 12 June 2025. With no defects or advisories noted during this most recent inspection, the mechanical condition appears stable and currently compliant with all statutory requirements. The lack of recorded failures or warnings suggests that the machine has been subjected to a disciplined maintenance regime, at least in the immediate lead-up to its most recent certification. The recorded mileage of 2,731 miles over a forty-one-year lifespan indicates an exceptionally low usage rate of approximately 67 miles per annum. This figure suggests the motorcycle has spent significant periods in storage or static display rather than regular operation. While the low mileage might imply limited wear on internal drivetrain components, such prolonged inactivity often leads to specific issues related to fuel degradation, perished rubber seals, and internal corrosion within the engine and fuel system. Prospective buyers should focus their physical inspection on components that deteriorate during long-term storage. Examine the fuel tank for internal corrosion and ensure the fuel delivery system remains free of varnish deposits. Inspect all rubber components, including fork seals, brake hoses, and tyre sidewalls, for signs of cracking or hardening due to age. Finally, verify that the braking system operates smoothly, as calipers and master cylinders are prone to seizing when a vehicle remains stationary for extended durations.
