2019 BMW X2 SDRIVE20I M Sport Auto 2.0L Petrol · CA19 AHX

A consistent record of clean MOT results characterizes this vehicle, with the most recent test on 02 July 2026 showing no defects. The testing history demonstrates a stable pattern of roadworthiness over the last five years, with only one advisory noted in November 2024 regarding thinning front inner brake pads. Aside from that single instance of wear, the vehicle has maintained a clear pass record through every annual inspection since its first recorded test in late 2021. The recorded mileage of 37,617 miles indicates a low annual accumulation rate of approximately 5,374 miles per year for a seven-year-old vehicle. This usage pattern suggests the car has been driven significantly less than the UK average, which typically results in less mechanical wear on drivetrain components and suspension linkages. However, such low annual mileage can sometimes mean the vehicle has spent extended periods stationary, which may impact the condition of rubber seals or the movement of braking components, though no specific defects related to long-term standing have been flagged in the official records. Given the advisory regarding the front inner brake pads in late 2024, a prospective buyer should focus on the braking system during a physical inspection. While the 2025 and 2026 tests showed no further advisories, it is prudent to check the remaining thickness of the pads and the condition of the brake discs. On a test drive, pay close attention to any high-pitched squealing from the front end, which can indicate pad wear indicators, or any pulsation or judder through the brake pedal when applying pressure at various speeds, which could suggest uneven disc wear or binding calipers. Beyond the braking system, the lack of recorded structural corrosion or suspension defects in the MOT history suggests the chassis and underbody components have remained within acceptable limits. During the test drive, listen for any rhythmic knocking or clunking sounds when traversing uneven surfaces or speed bumps, which would indicate wear in the suspension bushes or coil springs. Since the vehicle has been driven relatively little, also check for any signs of fluid weeping from the engine or gearbox, as low-usage vehicles can sometimes develop minor leaks from seals that have not been regularly lubricated by frequent operation.
