2016 Nissan Juke 1.5L Diesel · CK16 MVO

The 2016 Nissan Juke has maintained a consistent MOT pass record across five consecutive tests, with the most recent inspection on 23 March 2026 at 100,950 miles yielding no defects. This suggests the vehicle has been subjected to regular, if not rigorous, roadworthiness checks without any recurring mechanical failures or advisories. The absence of advisories—particularly those related to suspension bushes, coil springs, or binding calipers—implies no obvious signs of progressive wear or neglect in critical structural or braking components. However, the lack of defects does not preclude hidden issues, and the vehicle’s age (nearing ten years) necessitates a thorough in-person examination to verify the integrity of high-wear items. The recorded mileage of 100,950 miles over approximately nine years—averaging around 11,200 miles annually—falls within the typical range for a vehicle of this age, though it does not indicate particularly heavy or light usage. The intervals between tests are consistent, with each MOT occurring roughly within the 12-month window before the previous one, suggesting the vehicle has not been left stationary for extended periods. There are no abrupt mileage jumps or prolonged gaps that might hint at periods of disuse or deferred maintenance, though the absence of service records means the actual maintenance history remains unverified. Given the clean MOT history, a buyer should prioritise an inspection of the suspension system, particularly the rear trailing arms and subframe mounts, as these components often exhibit wear at this mileage. The brake system—including rear calipers, discs, and pads—should be checked for uneven wear or binding, especially if the vehicle has been driven in mixed conditions. Corrosion in wheel arches, sills, and underbody areas must be assessed, as this is a common failure point for vehicles of this age. Additionally, the exhaust system should be examined for leaks or excessive rust, particularly around the catalytic converter and muffler joints, as these are frequent sources of advisory failures in similar models. Tyre condition, including tread depth and lateral wear patterns, should also be verified, as the absence of MOT defects does not confirm recent replacements.
