2013 Ford Focus 1.6L Diesel · CU13 HVX

The 2013 Ford Focus presents a stable and favourable roadworthiness status. The most recent test on 5 November 2025 at 102,293 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of clean results across the available history. The maintenance trend shows no deterioration and no recurring advisories across five consecutive annual examinations. Annual mileage averages 7,869 against the vehicle's thirteen-year life, a typical figure for this age of car. The records show steady accumulation: 66,594 miles in October 2021, 75,393 by November 2022, 83,076 in November 2023, 93,629 in November 2024, and 102,293 in November 2025. The gaps between tests stay within normal twelve-month cycles with no abrupt jumps or dormant periods. The DVSA data is sparse on faults, listing zero advisories or failures throughout. A buyer should still commission an independent physical inspection despite the clean sheet. The MOT record captures only test-day condition and will not reveal developing corrosion in sills, subframes, or suspension mounting points that a Focus of this era can hide. Examine front coil springs, lower arm bushes, and brake disc wear closely, as these items commonly degrade between tests without triggering an advisory. Verify service history and confirm the timing belt interval for the engine variant has been met by 102,293 miles. The absence of recorded defects implies the previous keeper kept basic upkeep current, yet no MOT entry confirms mechanical internals or clutch condition. Treat the verdict as sound on paper, subject to hands-on checks before purchase.
