2017 Honda CR-V 2.0L Petrol · CU17 WND

The 2017 Honda CR-V presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 13 June 2025 at 25,159 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken five-year sequence of clean MOT outcomes from June 2021 through to 2025. Annual mileage sits well below typical use for a nine-year-old vehicle. The record shows 13,172 miles in June 2021, rising to 16,208 by June 2022, 18,377 by June 2023, 21,868 by June 2024, and 25,159 by June 2025. That equates to roughly 2,800 miles per year with no gaps or sudden accumulation. The consistently low figures and clean sheets suggest light, steady use, though prolonged standing between short trips can allow corrosion or perished rubber components to develop unseen. No advisories or failures appear across the history, so the buyer faces no flagged mechanical or structural concerns from the tester. Given the low annual mileage and likely periods of inactivity, a physical inspection should still check suspension bushes, brake discs, and calipers for seizing, plus underbody and sills for corrosion. Tyres and wiper blades may show age-related cracking rather than wear. The absence of recorded faults reflects diligent basic upkeep rather than deferred problems. A pre-purchase check should confirm fluid condition and confirm the cambelt or chain interval for the engine, since low mileage alone does not prevent degradation from time.
