2006 BMW 630 3.0L Petrol · CV06 RXJ

The 2006 BMW 630 presents a highly stable and improving maintenance trend, evidenced by a completely clean MOT record spanning at least four years. The tester passed the most recent test on 24 March 2026 at 165,911 miles without recording a single defect or advisory. This flawless outcome indicates that the vehicle currently meets all roadworthiness standards, with no immediate mechanical or structural concerns flagged by the tester. The mileage accumulation aligns closely with the vehicle's age, averaging roughly 8,296 miles per year. Examining the specific intervals reveals consistent usage without alarming spikes or prolonged inactivity. Between January 2022 and January 2023, the car covered 6,360 miles. The following year, January 2023 to January 2024, saw 7,270 miles. From January 2024 to January 2025, the mileage increased by 4,823 miles, and the most recent interval from January 2025 to March 2026 accounted for 6,110 miles. This steady, predictable accumulation suggests regular, sustained use rather than long periods of standing that can cause deterioration of rubber components and brake discs through corrosion. Despite the pristine MOT record, a physical inspection remains essential for a vehicle of this age and mileage. While no recurring faults or structural advisories appear in the data, the absence of recorded defects does not preclude the presence of wear items requiring imminent attention. A buyer should inspect the condition of the suspension bushes and coil springs, as these degrade over time regardless of mileage. The brake discs and pads require close scrutiny for scoring or uneven wear, particularly if the car has spent time stationary. Checking the exhaust system for corrosion and verifying the structural integrity of the underbody will confirm whether the owner has maintained the vehicle to the standard the MOT record implies.
