1998 Toyota Altezza 2.0L Petrol · CVZ 3943

The 1998 Toyota Altezza passed its most recent MOT on 11 November 2025 at 180,367 miles with no defects recorded. The maintenance trend appears stable, with the single available test showing a clean roadworthiness result roughly eight months before the current date. The recorded mileage of 180,367 over approximately 28 years equates to about 6,442 miles per year, which is typical for a vehicle of this age. The MOT history contains only the one entry from November 2025, so no gaps or rapid accumulation can be assessed from the data. The sparse record gives no evidence of recurring faults or neglected intervals. With no advisories or failures logged, a buyer should still carry out a physical inspection of age-related items not always captured in a pass result. Suspension bushes, coil springs, and subframe corrosion warrant close examination given the car's 28-year lifespan. Brake discs and calipers should be checked for binding or wear despite the clean test. The lack of recorded faults suggests basic upkeep was maintained to test standard, but the single-entry history limits insight into long-term care. A pre-purchase inspection of structural integrity and exhaust emissions remains sensible on a high-mileage Japanese saloon of this era.
