2016 Volkswagen Caddy 2.0L Diesel · CX16 ABF

The March 2026 MOT at 71,953 miles passed with no defects, confirming the vehicle remains roadworthy and indicating a stable maintenance trend. No advisories were recorded, and the outcome matches those of the preceding annual inspections. Mileage has risen from 47,855 miles in February 2022 to 71,953 miles in March 2026, an increase of 24,098 miles over four years, or roughly 6,000 miles per year, which aligns with the typical usage for a 2016 Caddy. The interval between tests has remained consistent, with no extended periods of inactivity evident. A buyer should therefore inspect the suspension bushes and coil springs for wear, verify that the rear brake calipers move freely and that the brake discs show no scoring or excessive corrosion, and examine the exhaust system and chassis for rust that could compromise structural integrity. Check tyre tread depth, wiper blade condition, and fluid levels, as these consumables often reveal neglect despite a clean MOT. Overall, the record shows regular, defect‑free testing and a mileage profile consistent with normal use, suggesting the vehicle has been cared for; however, a physical inspection remains essential to confirm the current state of critical components.
