2012 BMW 530 3.0L Diesel · CX61 MZN

The 2012 BMW 530 presents as roadworthy following a clean pass on 27 October 2025 at 100,864 miles, with the maintenance trend appearing stable across the recorded history. The most recent test came three days after a failed attempt on 24 October 2025 at the same mileage, though the failure listed no defects, indicating an administrative or documentation issue rather than a mechanical fault. Prior tests on 10 March 2025, 7 March 2024, and 13 March 2023 all passed with no advisories or defects recorded. Mileage has accumulated at a modest rate for a fourteen-year-old vehicle, averaging roughly 7,205 miles per year against the 100,864 miles recorded. The odometer moved only 1,029 miles between March 2023 and March 2024, then 2,103 miles to March 2025, and just 1,029 miles more by the October 2025 tests. Such low annual use suggests extended standing periods, which can allow corrosion and perished rubber components to develop even where the record shows no faults. The DVSA data flags no recurring suspension bushes, coil spring, brake disc, or structural integrity concerns across the five tests. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of underbody corrosion, brake caliper condition, and tyre sidewall cracking given the car's age and likely static intervals. The clean advisory history offers reassurance, but the unexplained October 2025 fail warrants confirmation that no outstanding recall or plate mismatch affects registration.
