2007 Toyota Yaris 1.3L Petrol · CY56 ERZ

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness status based on its recent testing history. The most recent inspection conducted on 3 January 2026 at 114,043 miles resulted in a pass with no defects, indicating the car currently meets minimum regulatory standards. While a failure occurred in late January 2025, the vehicle was rectified and passed just one week later at nearly the same mileage. This suggests the owner is responsive to immediate mechanical repair requirements rather than allowing faults to persist through to neglect. The mileage pattern is remarkably consistent for a nineteen-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 6,000 miles per annum. Between the November 2022 test at 105,070 miles and the January 2026 test at 114,043 miles, the car covered roughly 9,000 miles over three years. The interval between tests between the December 2023 test and the January 2025 test shows a steady usage profile. This low annual mileage typically reduces wear on the drivetrain and engine, though it can lead to rubber degradation in components over decades. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on the structural integrity of the chassis and underbody, as the age of the vehicle makes corrosion a risk despite the low mileage. Although the record shows no recent advisories for suspension bushes or brake components, the buyer should check for perished rubber or leaking seals which often affect older Toyotas sitting. Given the clean report from the latest two tests, the primary mechanical systems appear well-maintained, but a check of the exhaust system and mounting points remains necessary to ensure no hidden rust is present.
