2007 MINI 1.6L Petrol · DA07 LKO

The 2007 MINI presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 26 July 2025 at 120,199 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, following a failed attempt on the same date showing no listed defects, which points to an administrative or unlogged retest rather than a mechanical fault. Prior annual tests in November 2024, November 2023, and November 2022 all passed cleanly with no advisories, confirming no worsening pattern across the recorded history. The odometer shows 120,199 miles against roughly 19 years of age, equating to about 6,300 miles per year and typical use for the model. Mileage moved from 105,251 in November 2022 to 112,237 by November 2023, then 120,198 in November 2024, before stalling at 120,199 by July 2025. The near-zero accumulation across eight months suggests the car stood largely idle or covered only local trips in that window. The DVSA record flags no recurring suspension bushes, coil spring, brake disc, or corrosion issues across the five entries. A clean sheet with no advisories implies previous owners kept basic consumable wear in check. The same-day fail and pass in July 2025 without noted defects leaves the exact cause unverified by the data. A buyer should still commission an in-person inspection of structural integrity, subframe rust, and binding calipers given the car's age and low recent use. Standing periods can mask perished rubber mounts or flat-spotted tyres not captured in a pass result. Verify the July 2025 failure reason via the full DVSA certificate before purchase.
