2014 Audi A3 2.0L Diesel · DA14 FKH

The 2014 Audi A3 presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 5 March 2026 at 98,328 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of clean MOT outcomes across the available history. Annual mileage sits at roughly 8,194 per year against the vehicle's twelve-year life, a typical figure for this age of car. The records show steady accumulation: 70,866 miles at the 5 September 2022 test, rising to 73,732 by 4 September 2023, 83,725 on 5 September 2024, 93,423 on 29 August 2025, and 98,328 in March 2026. No gaps or sudden jumps appear. The DVSA data is sparse on advisories, with every entry listing zero defects, which suggests either disciplined upkeep or tests conducted on a car with minimal wear exposure. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake disc thickness, as the MOT record offers no visibility of incipient wear that a clean pass does not capture. Structural corrosion around sills and subframes warrants physical checks given the vehicle's age, even though no tester flagged it. The absence of recurring faults means no worsening mechanical pattern exists. Treat the clean history as evidence of consistent servicing, but verify emissions and drivetrain condition in person before purchase.
