2011 BMW 118 2.0L Diesel · DA61 HHR

The 2011 BMW 118 presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend, based on the most recent test on 30 March 2023 at 92,894 miles where the tester recorded a pass with no defects. The earlier examination on 31 January 2022 at 83,735 miles also returned a clean pass. Across both recorded entries the vehicle shows no advisories or failures, indicating no worsening mechanical condition over the observed period. Annual mileage sits at roughly 6,193 miles against the car's fifteen-year life, a typical figure for this age of vehicle. The records show a 14-month gap between the two tests, with 9,159 miles added in that span, equating to moderate use rather than prolonged standing or high-stress driving. The sparse but clean history gives no evidence of neglected consumables or deferred repairs, though only two entries exist so long-term care patterns remain partly undocumented. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs given the car's age and the lack of advisory data to confirm wear state. Structural integrity and underbody corrosion merit checks, as the MOT record offers no visibility of hidden rust beyond the test-day snapshot. The absence of recurring faults means no specific component trend requires monitoring beyond standard age-related wear. Treat the clean record as a positive but verify in person, since two passes alone cannot certify condition on a 92,894-mile BMW now over three years from its last test.
