2011 Honda Civic 1.8L Petrol · DG11 FZJ

The 2011 Honda Civic presents a stable and clean roadworthiness profile. The most recent test on 5 December 2025 at 74,480 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of annual passes since at least December 2021. The maintenance trend shows no worsening faults, advisories, or recurring mechanical concerns across the available history. Recorded mileage stands at 74,480 against an age of roughly fifteen years, equating to about 4,965 miles per year. The DVSA entries confirm light annual use: the car covered 5,649 miles between the December 2021 test at 53,831 and December 2022 at 59,757, then 4,662, 5,184, and 4,877 miles in the following three years. No gaps appear in the annual test cycle and no sudden accumulation of distance occurred. Such low, consistent mileage suggests gentle use but also implies the car may have stood idle for extended periods between short journeys. The absence of any flagged advisories means the official record shows no worn suspension bushes, corroded structure, failing brake discs, or exhaust faults at the tested dates. A buyer should still commission an in-person inspection of underbody corrosion and suspension components, as MOT passes on low-mileage cars can miss slow rust progression hidden behind sills and subframes. Standing time raises the risk of seized calipers, degraded rubber bushes, and flat-spotted tyres not yet visible to the tester. Given the clean history, previous owners appear to have maintained statutory testing without deferring exams or ignoring failures. The lack of minor consumable advisories such as tyre tread or wiper wear across five tests implies either prompt rectification or very light running. Verify service records independently, since MOT data alone confirms legal roadworthiness rather than full mechanical servicing.
