2016 Audi A1 1.0L Petrol · DH03 LOU

The vehicle’s most recent MOT on 2026-04-11 at 25,869 miles recorded a pass, though the same date shows a failed test with no defects noted, suggesting potential data inconsistency. Previous tests from 2023 to 2025 show consistent passes with no recorded defects, indicating a stable maintenance trend. The absence of critical issues in these tests implies the car has been well-maintained, but the duplicate failed entry on the latest test warrants verification. No major mechanical or structural concerns are evident from the recorded history. The vehicle’s mileage of 25,869 miles over 10 years equates to approximately 2,587 miles annually, significantly lower than average. This suggests infrequent use or prolonged periods of inactivity, which can lead to component degradation despite low mileage. The jump from 18,832 miles in 2025 to 25,869 miles in 2026—over 7,000 miles in 14 months—indicates recent increased usage. However, the sparse MOT record from 2023 to 2025, with no defects, implies minimal wear on consumables or critical systems during its lower-mileage phase. A buyer should inspect the suspension for worn bushes or coil springs, as low-mileage vehicles may develop stiffness or corrosion. Check brake discs and calipers for uneven wear or binding, which can occur if the car was parked for extended periods. Examine the exhaust system for rust or leaks, a common issue in older cars with infrequent use. The absence of recorded structural corrosion or emission failures is reassuring, but physical inspection remains essential to confirm the vehicle’s condition.
