2016 Nissan Note 1.2L Petrol · DJS 11M

The 2016 Nissan Note remains roadworthy based on its most recent MOT on 2025-10-14 at 50,361 miles, which recorded no defects. The maintenance trend is stable, with all tests from 2022 to 2025 passing without issues. The 2022-10-01 failure at 32,885 miles is noted but explicitly stated as having no defects, suggesting a possible administrative error or unrelated procedural issue. No recurring mechanical or structural concerns are evident in the record, indicating consistent upkeep. The vehicle’s mileage of 50,361 miles over 10 years equates to approximately 5,036 miles annually, significantly below the UK average for its age. This low usage may reflect infrequent operation, though a notable jump from 32,886 miles in 2022 to 37,446 miles in 2023 (a 4,560-mile increase) suggests periods of more active use. The absence of defects across multiple tests implies the owner prioritized basic maintenance, though the sparse data offers limited insight into deeper mechanical health. A buyer should verify the condition of suspension components, particularly given the low mileage, which could lead to dry joints or stiffness. Brake systems, including discs and calipers, should be inspected for corrosion or uneven wear, as prolonged inactivity may affect their functionality. Structural integrity is unmentioned in the record, but the lack of rust-related advisories is reassuring. The vehicle’s MOT history does not flag critical issues, but physical inspection remains essential to confirm the absence of hidden faults.
