2016 Mercedes-Benz C 2.1L Diesel · DU03 CKO

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness with a stable maintenance trend across its recent history. The most recent inspection conducted on 7 October 2025 at 121,784 miles passed with no defects or advisories. This clean record across the last five tests suggests that the previous owners maintained a proactive service schedule and that the mechanical and structural components are currently operating within acceptable tolerance parameters. The mileage data reveals a significant increase in usage over the last year. Between the May 2024 test at 70,198 miles and the October 2025 test at 121,784 miles, the car covered 51,586 miles in just seventeen months. This rate far exceeds the annual average of 12,178 miles seen in earlier years, indicating heavy motorway use. While the MOT records remain clean despite this high mileage, the rapid accumulation of miles places accelerated stress on the drivetrain, suspension bushings, and braking system. Because the MOT history shows no recurring mechanical failures, a physical inspection should focus on components susceptible to high-mileage wear. A buyer must examine the suspension geometry for worn control arms, coil springs, and bushes, as the high-frequency use often degrades rubber components. The braking system should be checked for thin discs and worn caliper seals, given the recent surge in mileage. Additionally, the chassis should be inspected for any signs of road-related corrosion that may be missed during the visual MOT checks.
