2011 Honda Jazz 1.3L Petrol · DV61 MWE

The vehicle is currently roadworthy, but the MOT record indicates a history of maintenance gaps and structural risks. The most recent test on 2026-03-12 passed at 30,190 miles, which is low for a 2011 model, suggesting the vehicle may have been used recently or is in a state of light wear. However, this recent passing does not guarantee future safety, as the record shows significant deterioration of critical components including the rear brake disc, front anti-roll bar linkage, and rear tyre. The mileage pattern suggests a lack of consistent upkeep. The vehicle has not maintained a steady 2,000+ miles per year for 15 years, resulting in rapid accumulation of wear on the drivetrain, suspension, and brakes. This rapid mileage accumulation is particularly concerning given the age of the car, as it implies that basic maintenance was skipped or the vehicle was driven in a way that accelerated component failure. The gap between the 2025 and 2023 tests is particularly significant, with the 2025 test showing a failure in the front side repeater and a failure in the rear inner brake disc, indicating a pattern of progressive wear that has not been addressed. Given the recurring faults in the suspension, brakes, and drivetrain components, a buyer should inspect the car in person to assess the condition of the suspension bushings, coil springs, and wheel bearings. The front anti-roll bar linkage and ball joint dust cover are severely deteriorated, which may affect handling and stability. The rear brake disc, pad, and inner brake disc are worn and pitted, which could lead to braking issues if not addressed. Structural risks remain high, particularly with the rear tyre cracking or perishing and the front anti-roll bar linkage, which could lead to a complete loss of control. A thorough inspection of these specific components is necessary to determine if the vehicle meets current roadworthiness standards or if it requires immediate professional servicing.
