The vehicle currently has no recorded MOT history, which is expected for a 2025 model as it remains within the initial three year MOT exemption period for new cars in the United Kingdom. Consequently, there is no DVSA data available to establish a maintenance trend or identify recurring mechanical failures. The roadworthiness at this stage is primarily dependent on the manufacturer warranty and the adherence to the prescribed service schedule rather than statutory testing outcomes. There is insufficient mileage data available to determine the annual usage rate or identify any abnormal patterns of accumulation. For a vehicle of this age, it is critical that the prospective buyer verifies the current odometer reading against the digital or physical service record to ensure the vehicle has not been subjected to excessive urban stop-start cycles or prolonged periods of inactivity. Rapid mileage accumulation in a mild hybrid automatic may accelerate wear on the transmission fluid and brake components, while very low usage can lead to secondary issues. Given the absence of a defect history, inspection should focus on time-based degradation and general condition. Check the tyre sidewalls for any signs of perishing or cracking, especially if the car has been stored for extended periods. Inspect the brake discs for surface corrosion or pitting, and during the test drive, listen for any binding calipers or shuddering under braking. Ensure the 12V auxiliary battery is maintaining a healthy charge, as modern mild hybrid systems are sensitive to voltage drops which can trigger erratic electronic warnings. Particular attention should be paid to the operation of the automatic transmission and the MHEV system. During the test drive, ensure the gear transitions are seamless and that the start-stop functionality operates without hesitation. Verify that the service book contains the correct stamps for the initial scheduled intervals, as calendar-based fluid degradation occurs regardless of mileage. Finally, inspect the exterior trim and suspension bushes for any premature wear or signs of impact, ensuring the structural integrity remains consistent with a vehicle of this vintage.
