2012 Toyota Auris 1.8L Electric · FH12 NXA

The 2012 Toyota Auris presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 16 January 2026 at 91,986 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken five-year sequence of clean MOT outcomes. Annual mileage has held close to the typical expectation for a 14-year-old vehicle. The records show 69,007 miles in January 2022, rising to 73,740 by January 2023, 81,140 in January 2024, 86,584 in January 2025, and 91,986 in January 2026. That equates to roughly 5,000 to 6,500 miles per year with no abrupt jumps or dormant gaps. The DVSA history is sparse in advisories, showing no flagged corrosion, suspension bushes, brake discs, or exhaust emissions concerns across the span. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of structural integrity and underbody condition despite the clean sheet. Four consecutive passes with zero advisories can mask gradual consumable wear not yet at failure threshold. Priority checks should cover front coil springs, rear suspension bushes, and brake caliper operation for any early binding. Given the low annual use, prolonged standing periods may have allowed minor surface corrosion to begin unseen. Examine sills, subframes, and brake lines closely. The absence of recorded faults implies reasonable previous owner care, but the test data alone cannot confirm component life remaining on tyres or wiper blades.
