2007 Honda Jazz 1.3L Petrol · FL07 TNX

The 2007 Honda Jazz presents a stable and exemplary maintenance trend, confirmed by a completely clean MOT record spanning the last five years. The most recent test on 2 July 2025 at 33,770 miles passed with zero defects, indicating no immediate mechanical or structural concerns. This unblemished record suggests the previous owner maintained the vehicle to a high standard, addressing wear items proactively before they reached failure point. The recorded mileage of 33,770 miles over nineteen years equates to an average of roughly 1,777 miles annually, which is exceptionally low. The annual increments between tests remain remarkably consistent: 2,192 miles between June 2021 and June 2022, 2,638 miles between 2022 and 2023, 2,930 miles between 2023 and 2024, and 2,192 miles between 2024 and 2025. Such steady, low-mileage accumulation points to short, local journeys rather than long-distance motorway driving. While low mileage reduces general wear on consumables, prolonged short trips can cause specific issues like premature brake disc corrosion and exhaust system condensation buildup, which the MOT does not always capture between annual tests. Despite the flawless MOT history, a physical inspection remains essential to verify the vehicle's condition. Buyers should scrutinise the condition of the tyres for sidewall cracking, a common issue on low-mileage vehicles that stand stationary for extended periods. The brake discs and pads require close examination for surface corrosion resulting from light use, even if they passed the roller test. Suspension components, particularly the coil springs and mounting bushes, should be checked for deterioration, as age rather than mileage dictates their lifespan. Inspect the exhaust system for pinhole corrosion and the underbody for structural rust, ensuring the low annual mileage has not masked any age-related degradation of the chassis and subframes.
