2010 Toyota Yaris 1.0L Petrol · FL60 ONJ

The 2010 Toyota Yaris presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend, confirmed by the most recent DVSA test on 9 March 2026 at 46,565 miles which recorded no defects. Every annual examination from 2022 through 2026 returned a pass with no advisories, showing the vehicle has sustained a clean compliance record across the last four years. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a sixteen year old car. The record shows 46,522 miles at the 7 March 2022 test, rising only to 46,565 miles by March 2026. That is a total accumulation of just 43 miles over four years, equating to roughly 11 miles annually. Such figures indicate the car has stood largely unused, with no notable gaps or rapid accumulation to explain. The sparse, clean history offers little evidence of regular road use or wear cycles. A buyer should still inspect for issues that low mileage and long standing periods conceal. Rubber components such as suspension bushes, track rod ends, and door seals degrade with age rather than distance, and may have hardened or cracked despite zero advisories. Brake calipers and handbrake mechanisms can seize through disuse; we recommend a physical check for binding or corrosion on discs and calipers. Tyres and wiper blades from this era will likely require replacement on age grounds alone, irrespective of tread. Structural underbody areas should be examined for corrosion where moisture trapped during storage. The MOT record itself raises no mechanical red flags, but the standing profile demands a hands-on assessment of consumables and dormant systems before purchase.
