2011 Vauxhall Insignia 2.0L Diesel · FM11 BXP

The Vauxhall Insignia presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend, confirmed by the most recent DVSA test on 26 June 2025 at 108,006 miles which recorded no defects. Every annual examination from 2021 through 2025 passed without advisory or failure, showing the previous keeper maintained the vehicle to a standard that satisfied statutory roadworthiness checks across a four-year span. The odometer advanced from 90,502 miles at the 26 July 2021 test to 108,006 miles by June 2025, an accumulation of 17,504 miles over roughly four years. That equates to near 4,400 miles per annum, below the 7,200 miles per year norm for a 2011 plate. The sparse but clean record implies light usage with no skipped tests and no abrupt mileage jumps that would signal ex-fleet abuse or clocking. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and subframe corrosion given the car's fifteen-year age and Vauxhall's known vulnerability to structural rust in damp conditions. The MOT history shows no advisories on brake discs, binding calipers, or exhaust emissions, yet testers often miss early pitting on worn components between annual checks. Verify the service history matches the low annual mileage and confirm tyre sidewall dates, as consumables may have aged through standing rather than wear. The absence of recorded faults is reassuring, but the record alone cannot certify the condition of unseen mechanical items on a high-mileage Insignia.
