2013 Vauxhall Insignia 2.0L Diesel · FM62 DAA

The Vauxhall Insignia presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 5 February 2026 at 81,545 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken five-year sequence of clean MOT outcomes. Annual mileage has averaged roughly 4,500 miles across the recorded period, below the 6,273 miles per year typical for a 2013 vehicle. The tester logged 63,860 miles on 28 January 2022, then 69,061 on 3 February 2023, 73,154 on 1 February 2024, 77,282 on 1 February 2025, and 81,545 on 5 February 2026. The consistent year-on-year increments of around 4,000 to 4,500 miles show light, steady use with no gaps or sudden accumulation. The record carries no advisories or failures throughout. Given the absence of flagged defects, the previous owner maintained the car to a standard that cleared each annual test without noted wear on tyres, brakes, suspension bushes, or exhaust emissions. A clean history over five tests implies basic upkeep was not skipped and no recurring mechanical faults required attention. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of structural integrity and corrosion points, particularly chassis legs and subframe, as MOT passes do not certify absence of developing rust. Verify brake disc thickness, coil spring condition, and suspension bush wear in person, since these consumable items can degrade between tests without triggering advisories.
