2013 BMW 116 1.6L Petrol · FX63 KBF

The vehicle presents a currently roadworthy status following the most recent pass recorded on 24 June 2025 at 133,796 miles, with no defects listed. The maintenance trend across the supplied records reads as stable, showing clean passes in 2023 and 2024 and a final clean pass in 2025. A notable irregularity appears in the form of two same-day entries on 24 June 2025 and two in June 2024, where the car first failed then passed on the same odometer readings with no defects recorded. This pattern suggests administrative or process retries at the testing station rather than mechanical rectification. Annual mileage sits at roughly 10,300 miles per year against a 13-year lifespan, which is typical for the age. The records show 125,574 miles at the June 2023 test, 129,768 miles at the June 2024 fail, and 133,796 miles by June 2025. That is about 4,200 miles between 2023 and 2024 and 4,000 across the following year, confirming steady private-use accumulation with no sudden jumps or long dormant gaps. The DVSA data itself is sparse on faults, carrying no advisories for tyres, brakes, suspension bushes, exhaust emissions, or corrosion across the three years. Because the tester logged no advisories or defects on any pass, the buyer should still commission an independent inspection of structural integrity and consumable items the MOT may not capture in detail. Pay particular attention to front coil springs, rear trailing arm bushes, and brake disc wear given the car's age and urban BMW 1 Series wear patterns. Verify the duplicate fail-pass entries with the selling garage to confirm no suppressed mechanical reason sat behind the 2024 and 2025 retests. The clean record implies previous owners kept the car to test standard, yet absence of advisories at this mileage often means items like tyres and wipers were changed just ahead of each test. A physical check of underbody corrosion and binding calipers remains sensible before purchase.
