2009 Husqvarna WR 125 0.1L Petrol · G23 PPG

The vehicle’s most recent MOT on 2025-09-02 recorded a pass with no defects, but the preceding test on 2025-08-28 resulted in a failure despite no recorded issues. This inconsistency suggests potential irregularities in testing or maintenance practices. The 2023-11-11 and 2022-11-12 tests both passed with no defects, while an earlier failure on 2022-10-29 also lacked recorded problems. The absence of specific mechanical or structural findings across multiple tests implies either a lack of significant faults or incomplete reporting. The pattern shows no clear worsening or improvement, but the recent failure raises questions about the vehicle’s reliability. Mileage data is sparse and unverifiable, with no clear progression between tests. The 2023-11-11 test recorded 2,366 miles, while the 2022-11-12 test showed 2,247 miles, suggesting minimal usage over a year. Subsequent tests in 2025-08-28 and 2025-09-02 also listed 2,247 miles, indicating possible odometer tampering or missed recordings. Without consistent mileage tracking, it is impossible to assess wear against the vehicle’s age. This lack of data complicates evaluating long-term maintenance trends or identifying potential hidden issues. A buyer should inspect the suspension components, including bushes and coil springs, for wear given the vehicle’s age. The absence of brake-related defects in MOT records does not preclude checking for binding calipers or uneven brake disc wear, which could develop over time. Corrosion risks, particularly in the exhaust system or underbody, warrant scrutiny, as older motorcycles are prone to rust in UK conditions. The repeated failures without recorded issues highlight the need for a thorough pre-purchase inspection to confirm the vehicle’s mechanical integrity beyond MOT documentation.
