2012 Vauxhall Zafira 1.7L Diesel · HG62 GCV

The 2012 Vauxhall Zafira shows a roadworthy status with the latest DVSA test on 23 September 2025 at 107,452 miles returning a pass and no defects noted. The maintenance trend is stable across five consecutive annual examinations, with each test from October 2021 to September 2025 recording zero advisories. This unbroken sequence signals consistent upkeep and no worsening mechanical faults. Mileage sits at 107,452 over fourteen years, an average near 7,675 miles per annum. The odometer advanced steadily: 80,590 miles on 5 October 2021, 86,924 on 1 October 2022, 92,914 on 16 October 2023, 99,797 on 7 October 2024, and 107,452 on 23 September 2025. No test gap exceeds thirteen months. Such linear accumulation suggests a careful keeper who avoided both long stationary periods and high-speed wear. The clean record implies previous owners met statutory obligations without deferring critical repairs. Testers flagged no suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs, binding calipers, exhaust emissions or structural corrosion at any interval. Buyers should still examine these components physically, as MOT snapshots miss intermittent faults. A fourteen-year-old Zafira may harbour rust in sills and subframes despite passing emissions. We advise checking front strut top mounts and rear trailing arm bushes for age-related cracking. Verify service history to confirm timing belt and fluid intervals, and inspect tyre tread and wiper blades for consumable wear. The absence of recorded defects points to responsible ownership, but independent inspection remains prudent before purchase.
