2020 Volkswagen Caddy 2.0L Diesel · HJ20 AXZ

This vehicle is in an exceptional state of roadworthiness with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT on 1 April 2026 at 20,853 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of clean passes dating back to July 2023, indicating a vehicle that has been kept in peak mechanical condition. The mileage is notably low for a six year old Caddy, averaging roughly 3,476 miles per year. The progression from 8,716 miles in July 2023 to 20,853 miles in April 2026 shows steady, light usage rather than long periods of stagnation. There are no erratic jumps in mileage that would suggest undisclosed commercial use or sudden changes in ownership patterns. The absence of any advisories across four consecutive tests is rare. The tester flagged no issues with brake discs, suspension bushes, or exhaust emissions, nor was there any mention of structural corrosion. This suggests a high standard of preventative care from the previous owner. A physical inspection should focus on components that degrade regardless of mileage. Check the condition of the tyre sidewalls for age related cracking and verify that the brake fluid has been changed according to the manufacturer schedule. While the MOT record is flawless, confirming the service history for oil changes will ensure the engine has been properly maintained despite the low annual mileage.
