2011 BMW 3 Series 2.0L Diesel · HV11 HPE

The vehicle presents as a roadworthy asset with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test conducted on 07 December 2025 at 130,660 miles resulted in no defects, indicating that the car currently meets all minimum safety standards. While a failure was recorded on 23 November 2024 at 126,577 miles, the subsequent pass just three weeks later suggests the identified issues were addressed immediately and effectively. The mileage pattern remains consistent with a 15-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 8,700 miles per year. Between May 2022 and July 2023, the car covered 1,997 miles, suggesting a period of lower usage. However, the mileage increased significantly between July 2023 and December 2024, with 7,558 miles covered in seventeen months. This recent acceleration indicates a shift toward more frequent annual use, which typically places higher stress on the rubber suspension components and drivetrain assemblies of this age. Given the clean records in the two most recent tests, a buyer should still focus their physical inspection on common BMW 3 Series wear points at high mileage. Although the history shows no current advisories, the buyer should check for play in front control arm bushings and shock absorbers, which often perish after 130,000 miles. Inspecting the underside for corrosion on the subframes is also vital, as the MOT record does not capture minor structural degradation until it reaches a failure threshold.
