2020 Ford Kuga ST-Line Ecoblue Mhev 2.0L Diesel · HW20 MHV

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test conducted on 29 July 2025 at 48,404 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded, indicating that all mechanical and safety systems were in good working order at that time. While a failure occurred in late July 2024, the immediate rectification and subsequent clean pass suggest the previous owner was proactive in addressing identified faults. The mileage accumulation is consistent with a typical low-use profile, averaging approximately 8,000 miles per annum. Between the July 2023 test at 26,454 miles and the July 2024 test at 37,365 miles, the vehicle covered 10,911 miles. The subsequent interval saw another 11,039 miles leading to the 2025 test. This steady usage suggests the vehicle has not suffered from long periods of stationary neglect, which helps prevent the degradation of rubber components and fluid seals within the mild hybrid drivetrain system. Given the clean record of the last two tests, there is no documented evidence of recurring structural corrosion or persistent mechanical failure. A buyer should still perform a physical inspection of the suspension bushes and coil springs, as these are common areas of wear on the Kuga regardless of low mileage. The inspector should also check for signs of binding calipers or thin discs, as the MOT does not measure remaining brake pad life and only focuses on safety-critical failures.
