2021 Ford Transit 350 Trend Ecoblue 2.0L Diesel · HW70 AES

The vehicle currently holds a valid MOT pass issued on 8 January 2024 at 26,672 miles, confirming it met the minimum roadworthiness standards at that time. The maintenance trend appears stable, supported by a single recorded failure that was non-critical. The only advisory noted a damaged offside indicator repeater outer casing, a minor lighting defect that does not affect core mechanical or structural integrity. At roughly five years old with 26,672 recorded miles, this Ford Transit has averaged approximately 5,334 miles per year, significantly below the national average. This low usage pattern typically reduces wear on the engine, transmission, clutch, and suspension components, though it raises the possibility of components seizing or seals degrading during extended idle periods. The MOT history is sparse, with only one entry recorded, so long-term reliability trends cannot yet be established. Prospective buyers should inspect the front and rear suspension bushes, coil springs, and shock absorbers for cracking or deterioration, particularly if the vehicle has been stationary for prolonged intervals. Check the brake discs and pads for uneven wear or scoring, and verify that the binding calipers operate smoothly. Examine the bodywork and undercarriage for signs of corrosion, focusing on sills, wheel arches, and the rear floor pan. Test all lighting functions, including the previously damaged indicator repeater, to ensure full compliance with current regulations.
